Ukrainian Summer School isn’t just about the classroom experience. It’s also about meeting new people and having fun! We arrange a wide range of social events to help students get to know both each other and Ukraine, Lviv in particular.
City Tour
This guided tour is a great way to get to know Lviv! It covers the most important and interesting sights in Lviv, including Rynok square, Town Hall ( endless stairs to the top and at last real satisfaction from the panorama of the city), great variety of churches and cathedrals, defense structures of the city, Opera theatre etc. Also there is a possibility of visiting the High Castle with a perfect view not only of the city but also of its suburbs.
In the school program there is no strict week-end schedule. You can either use this time to relax, explore Lviv and surroundings on your own or with your friends, or we would be happy to suggest you a few options how to spend this time. Our suggestions would be:
This options would be discussed during the first week of the school. For the prices of the package trip (car + guide) you can check . Though because you are studying the language it would make sense to go for a bit more adventurous and cheaper option – taking local transport and travel the way the locals do. We hope that during your two week stay in Lviv you would get a much deeper insight into Ukrainian culture than any normal tourist would do.
