In the school program there is no strict week-end schedule. You can either use this time to relax, explore Lviv and surroundings on your own or with your friends, or we would be happy to suggest you a few options how to spend this time. Our suggestions would be:
- the Carpathian Mountains or ancient castles around Lviv (Olesko, Pidhirci, Zolochiv).
- Hiking trip to the Carpathians or visiting Kamianets-Podilsky old city and Khotyn fortress.
This options would be discussed during the first week of the school. For the prices of the package trip (car + guide) you can check www.inlviv.info/services/castles_tour/. Though because you are studying the language it would make sense to go for a bit more adventurous and cheaper option - taking local transport and travel the way the locals do. We hope that during your two week stay in Lviv you would get a much deeper insight into Ukrainian culture than any normal tourist would do.
